The Best Paleo Biscuits – EVER

I might be a little biased because I’ve been deprived of soft, flaky biscuits for so long but in all honesty – these are amazing!! Just look at them! They are very simple and the ingredients are paleo friendly, gluten free, grain free and dairy free. Makes about 10 biscuits

Paleo Biscuits

2 cups all purpose flour (see recipe here)

1 tsp cream of tarter

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp sea salt

2/3 cup palm shortening

1 cup milk (coconut or unsweetened almond)


In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Add in milk until just combined. Carefully form into biscuits on a floured surface or just drop on to baking sheet. Bake at 375F for about 20 minutes. Store in sealed container
