Smoothies are so versatile which makes them perfect for just about anyone. My requirements for a smoothie is that 1.) it uses just a few, simple ingredients, 2.) it doesn’t take more than a few minutes to make and 3.) it doesn’t taste like spinach, kale, grass, etc. If you find a recipe on my blog, it meets all of these requirements. This one is great – just a handful of ingredients and nothing crazy! Makes 1 smoothie
In a blender, combine ingredients. Blend for about a minute or until mixture is completely smooth.
Today’s motivation comes from one of my favorite books: Wherever You Go, There You Are by Jon Kabat-Zin. It focuses on mindfulness thinking and reflecting in the present, rather than dwelling on the past or future. My integrative nutritionist recommended some of his books and I’m so glad she did!
