Simple Cran-Apple Crisp

Who doesn’t love a recipe that features less than 10 ingredients? Especially a DELICIOUS dessert! This recipe uses just a few, natural ingredients to deliver a perfectly tasty, healthy dessert. This would be great for your holiday meals or really any time of year! Makes about 8 servings

Simple Cran-Apple Crisp

3 large apples, peeled and thinly sliced

1 cup fresh cranberries

1 Tbsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1 cup walnuts, chopped

1/4 cup coconut flour

2 Tbsp cup coconut oil

1 Tbsp honey


In a small bowl, combine walnuts, flour, oil and honey. Mix together with a fork until crumbly. In a 2 qt baking dish, combine apples, cranberries, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over walnut mixture. Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes or until apples are soft and crumb topping starts to brown.
