Instructions
To make pie
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla and butter until smooth. Stir in salt and flour. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans until combined. Pour filling in to prepared pie crust.
  2. Bake at 400F for about 45-55 minutes or until center is set and crust has started to brown. Let cool about an hour before serving to set.
To make pie crust
  1. In a large bowl, add dry ingredients. Cut in butter or shortening until pea size crumbles are created. Add in water, sour cream, vinegar and honey. Gently mix until just combined. Place dough on a floured sheet of parchment paper. Roll out into a large, thin circle. Flip the parchment paper onto a pie pan. Form edges as desired. If crust breaks or cracks, brush with a little water and form together with your hands.
