Paleo Iced Coffee

I used to love those Starbucks cold bottled drinks you could find in any grocery store. They were so extremely sweet but had great flavor. I decided to give that a try after I began making batches of my own cold brewed coffee and cocoa. Chameleon Cold-Brew makes an AMAZING cold brew coffee – check it out here! It’s really very simple and can be easily customized for your own taste buds. Here’s some quick tips for your best iced coffee or iced cocoa:

PALEO ICED COFFEE

Cold Brew Coffee
1 cup coffee grounds (freshly ground is best)
4 cups filtered water
1 quart mason jar

Cold Brew Cocoa
1 cup ground cocoa beans or cocoa powder
OR 1 cup Crio Bruior Choffy grounds
4 cups filtered water
1 quart mason jar
In a clean mason jar, pour in coffee or cocoa grounds and water. Seal and shake until combined. Place jar on counter for about 12-16 hours (longer for stronger blend). Using a fine mesh strainer, remove grounds and discard. Place cold brew drink back in mason jar and store in fridge.

Iced Drink Options
Raw honey for sweetness
Cinnamon or other spices
Vanilla extract
Coconut sugar (for a caramel flavor)
Cocoa powder (for a mocha taste)
Coconut or almond milk
Coconut cream
Spicy Vanilla Iced Coffee
1 cup cold brew coffee (or cocoa)
1/4 cup coconut milk
1 Tbsp coconut cream
1 tsp raw honey
Dash of cinnamon
Dash of cloves
Dash of vanilla
In a blender, combine ingredients and pulse until well blended. Pour into a glass and add a few ice cubes. Sprinkle with additional cinnamon or spices if desired.
