Motivational Monday & Menu Plan

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a nice weekend! Today’s motivation is pretty personal. Today, I will be going back to the KU Med Center for review of recent labs I completed. Nothing crazy, just another checkup to see how I’m progressing. It’s hard to explain to people that I’m not really healed or that I will ever be “healed”. Right how we are just monitoring my vitamin levels to see if I start absorbing nutrients. I have an autoimmune disorder that is proving difficult to understand. I’ll have good days and bad days. Lately, I’m having more bad. It is a struggle for all of us but I know faith will persevere and we’ll get to a new “normal”. As much as I hate using vacation days to go to the doctor in KC – I do enjoy the drive over with my #1 supporter, that cute husband of mine!

So today’s motivation is from my favorite book….

Matthew 14:35-36 “People brought to him all those who were sick and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak….”

Regardless of what your “sickness” may be, I pray for healing for all of us in our struggles!
