Mother’s Day Recipe Ideas

Being a mother is truly the best opportunity I’ve been given. Sure it is trying at times but it is so rewarding. I’ve never been one for gifts – I love giving them much more! Sure, everyone likes a gift but I’m especially fond of those thoughtful, homemade ones. Some of my favorites include hand-painted cards, flower pots, posters, etc. My husband asked me the other day, “what do you want for Mother’s Day?” I honestly didn’t know. Right now it’s hard for us to go places since I never know when a “bad day” will be. I’m fine with staying in and just enjoying each other. I’ve always liked the idea of “breakfast in bed” except that 1.) it’s messy, 2.) I usually get up early and 3.) my kids are way too noisy for me to just lay there. If they offered to make me breakfast, I’d be okay with that too! 🙂

To give some of you some ideas, I wanted to through together my best, yet simplest recipes for you. That way, if you want to slip a hint to your husband or children of what you might like on your special day – the recipes are easy enough for them to make.
