Going gluten free or Paleo can be quite a challenge – especially if you are a bread lover (like me). When it comes to a burger, a bun just kind of completes the dish. However, with these burgers, you won’t miss the bun. There’s so much going on with this burger, there’s no room for a bun! This burger is literally loaded with tons of veggies providing a wide variety of nutrients. It could almost be your whole meal, on top of a burger! Enjoy!
1 lb ground turkey (or beef if you prefer)
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 avocado, sliced
1 tomato, sliced
1 onion, sliced
Dill pickle slices
Sliced cheese (cheddar works great)
- In a mixing bowl, combine turkey, salt, pepper, cumin and chili powder.
- Form into four burger patties and cook as desired – we love grilling them.
- Top burgers with remaining ingredients and grab a fork!
