Happy Monday readers!
I hope you had a marvelous weekend. We are in full on Christmas mode at our house. We started the Elf on the Shelf tradition this year and it is so fun. So far, Sully/Elfy/Selfie (no one can decide on a name) has been Spiderman, hiding in the tree, driving race cars, bathing in marshmallows, cleaning sink with kids’ toothbrushes, reading to babies and drawing mustaches on pictures. My daughter seems to think “Selfie” is a mean elf because he picks on her. My son thinks he is hilarious. It’s so fun to see the innocence in their eyes and watch their enjoyment. We are also getting ready to begin our 12 Days of Giving and the 12 Days of Family Time. It’s our favorite part of Christmas. More on that soon!
In the spirit of giving, I’m having a little giveaway on this blog! This post here has all the details but basically, I’m giving two lucky winners 3 full size products from Bob’s Red Mill! So Merry Christmas to you! Last week, I also posted a Holiday Gift List for those of you looking for some ideas.
As for today’s motivation, I wanted to find something about giving to others this season. Honestly, I know we could do more but each day we try to help someone and it brings so much joy in our lives. Mother Teresa said “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” This is so true. It is not about how much money you can spend, but how much you truly care that matters. If you can’t give monetary items, give a smile – to some it could be worth millions.
Here is today’s menu plan. Check out the other’s over at Org Junkie.
Have a great week!!!
