Meal Plan 05/25/15

Hey – long time, no post!

Gosh – what a busy week we’ve had. I won’t get into hairy details but my half-sister passed away unexpectedly. We were not that close for personal reasons but it has been a learning experience for me. We had some family in town that stayed with us and it was just a long week for everyone. Once everything was over, we just needed to rest. Honestly, this was the first time that I really knew I needed to and made myself rest. I don’t think I had been so exhausted in a long time… not so much physically but mentally and emotionally. Anyway, I we took a MUCH needed break from everything but now we are back in the swing of things!

This week is just as busy – dentists, doctors, more family in town, t-ball – the works! But that’s summer right?! Here’s what you can expect this week in terms of blog posts: Raspberry Lemonade Cupcakes, BBQ Meatloaf and Open-Faced Chicken Enchiladas.

    Looks like a good week of eating 🙂 … funny (not so much), but I just had to do a funeral last week for the first time in quite a few years and it was NO fun … even though the person was not close to ME, she was very close to my father and that alone was mentally draining 🙁 … Gonna have to check back for that Raspberry Lemonade Cupcakes now!
