Hello lovelies –
It’s the first Monday of April and the weather here in Kansas is sure beautiful! We were able to spend most of the weekend outside working on the house and preparing the garden (my favorite!). Unfortunately, I also had my first snake encounter of the year… I’m seriously afraid of them. I still shudder about it….
In my area, the local farmer’s markets are starting to open up again and I couldn’t be more excited! Just this past weekend, I was able to snag LOTS of goodies at the Webb City Farmer’s Market: arugula, kale, microgreens, grass-fed beef, grass-fed goat, pastured pork, homemade vanilla, Chinese broccoli, watergress… lots of greens 🙂 Oh.. and kettle cooked popcorn (we can’t go without getting some for the kids). The produce vendors will soon start filling the market’s and you’ll find ME in Webb City too (on Tuesdays) selling my allergy-friendly baked goods! What’s your favorite farmer’s market find?
