Did you enjoy the Superbowl? We aren’t fans of either team but we were kind of pulling for the Seahawks. Unfortunately, that last play for them was awful. I’m not sure whose idea it was to pass on the 1 yard line with Marshawn Lynch as your powerhouse. BUT whatever-let’s not get into that!
In brighter news, last week I officially passed my Nutrition & Wellness Consultant Certification Exam! I learned SO much from my courses, yet I have so much desire to learn more! One trait God blessed me with is the ability to absorb so much information and the ridiculous desire to learn – as much as I can about anything. The reason I decided on this certification was that I feel obligated to pass on nutrition knowledge to you, my readers. I can send you recipes every day and tell you they are “healthy” but do you know what makes them healthy? If not, I hope to help provide that knowledge to you. Plus, it helps me learn about what our bodies need most for nourishment.
I thoroughly enjoy sharing motivational scriptures or quotes on Mondays. However, I felt like I could do more – like share one every day. So starting yesterday, I decided that each day, I will post a motivational phrase on my blog page so you can see something every time you visit my page. I’ll also include a little summary in my weekly emails to subscribers (there’s a link to your right and below to sign up!). I hope you enjoy those! If you have any of your favorite scriptures or quotes, feel free to share them and I may use them (with your reference)!
Today, I wanted to share a quote from one of my newly found, favorite authors – Joyce Meyer. I’m just getting into some of her books and devotionals and I love them so far!
“Live each day with a thankful heart, grateful for every good thing.” – Joyce Meyer
Here is this week’s meal plan and recipe links. Be sure to check out others over at Org Junkie.
