For those of you that don’t drink coffee, you shouldn’t miss out on a tasty iced drink this summer. I had a strong LOVE for Iced Coffees any time of year, but when I gave up coffee and caffeine, I really missed it. I started drinking herbal teas and I’ve found several that are great coffee alternatives. I really LOVE Teeccino brand of gluten-free teas. This recipe uses a very simple blend of teas with dairy-free cream options. Makes 1 serving
In a large mug or sauce pan, combine water and tea and steep for about 10 minutes and cool. In a small bowl, whisk together milk, vanilla, honey and cinnamon until smooth. Fill a glass with ice. Pour into milk mixture and top with cooled tea. Stir if desired.
