Holiday Gift Ideas

You’ve still got a little bit of time to find that perfect gift for someone and you’ll likely find some good deals too! I’ve put together a list of my favorite gift ideas this season – related to cooking of course! You can find more of my favorite items through my Amazon store. These make great gifts for that foodie in your life, that busy mom who needs some help from a handy appliance, that cook always trying new things or maybe even a couple ideas for yourself! These are not only great gifts, but are great kitchen items for any time of year.

Appliances/Gadgets

Pressure Cooker – I have this one and I love it. Honestly, these make cooking so fast and easy – it is essential in our house.

Slow Cooker – I love my programmable Crock-Pot but really any type of slow cooker will get the job done!

Stand Mixer – I always thought these were ridiculous but my awesome husband bought me one and it is now my favorite kitchen tool!

Food Processor – makes shredding fresh veggies a piece of cake! Also great for mixing those thick and tricky batters.

Big Blender – get a high powered blender for big jobs like making nut butters, blending batters, etc. I LOVE our Ninja.

Little Blender – great for smoothies or small jobs. I use ours daily.

FoodSaver – if you have a garden, farm, etc – you’ll want this. We buy fresh meat in bulk and use this to freeze it for months. It’s worth it!

Juicer – even if you aren’t into hardcore juicing – it is nice to have a good juicer for fresh, healthy juices.

Keurig – sure there are lots of discussion about these but we love ours. Husband uses it daily for coffee and I use it for hot water or to make tea.

French Press – a cheap, yet handy little gadget to make strong coffee, tea, espresso. These are key for brewing cacao grounds such as Crio Bru.

Glass storage/baking containers – they are great for cooking in, storing, serving and transporting.

Tart Pans – these are not necessary for baking but they are handy. They are great for making quiche, tart, mini cheesecakes, etc.

Non-Essential but fun kitchen gadgets
Strawberry huller – makes cleaning those strawberries a breeze!

Melon baller – for all those delicious summer fruits. It helps make a pretty fruit salad!

Immersion Blender – handy for pureeing sauces in a pot, smoothies, etc.

Cast Iron pans – I love cooking with them, but they require a little upkeep (totally worth it)
