Who says you can’t have chocolate for breakfast?? I will NEVER tell you to forgo (healthy) chocolate at any time of day 🙂 This simple and easy No’grola (No-Oat-Granola) is so delicious. It goes perfect with some fresh berries and yogurt, a dash of almond milk or even warmed as more of an N’Oatmeal. This makes about 8 servings.
1 cup coconut flakes
1 cup finely sliced almonds (or other nuts)
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
- In a small sauce pan, melt coconut oil. Add in coconut sugar, honey and cocoa powder. Cook for about 10 minutes over low-heat.
- Remove from heat and add in vanilla, coconut flakes, almonds. Stir until flakes and almonds are coated in cocoa mixture. Let cool for a few minutes in saucepan.
- Spread mixture onto a baking sheet lined with wax or parchment paper and let cool for about an hour or two.
- Break mixture into pieces and store in a sealed container.
