Banana Pudding Smoothie

Bananas are a great sugar replacement. Bananas are one of the fruits that are high in natural sugars; however, in my opinion, they are still MUCH better for you than any refined or artificial sweetener on the shelves. They are my favorite addition to smoothies. This smoothie is very simple and can be thrown together on a busy morning. Makes 1 serving


1 banana
Dash of vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 carton of plain or vanilla yogurt (coconut is my favorite)
1/4 cup almonds
3/4 cup coconut or almond milk
1/2 cup ice, if desired

In a blender, combine ingredients. Blend for about 30-45 seconds or until completely smooth. For extra creaminess, use canned coconut milk for your base.
