Almond Joy Smoothie

Smoothies make a great breakfast option, especially on busy mornings. However, they are even better when they taste like dessert. Like this one – flavored like the popular candy bar. This recipe includes the cocoa, coconut and almond. Makes 1 smoothie

8 oz almond milk
1 Tbsp coconut cream (aka coconut manna/concentrate)
1 Tbsp coconut flakes
1 Tbsp cacao powder
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 banana
1/2 cup ice
 

In a blender, combine ingredients. Blend until smooth.
