A little celebration….

Hello all!

A few days ago, I celebrated my 28th birthday.

Almost 2 months ago, my licensed, dedicated gluten-free bakery officially opened.

We’ve 95% completed our home 3 months ago and have moved in, unpacked and are so excited to be out of an RV.

It’s 4th of July Weekend (a 3 day weekend at that).

I’ve ALMOST hit 500 followers on Facebook.

…… I’d say all those of things are pretty good reasons to have a giveaway!!!!

I’ve received an OVERWHELMING response to the bakery and all my efforts there and I am SO thankful! I’ve had the joy of hearing so many touching stories from people with similar situations to mine. I’ve had the joy of making special (multiple allergy-free) cupcakes for a sweet girl’s birthday. I’ve heard “these don’t even taste gluten-free.” I’ve seen some pretty awesome smiles from people who haven’t enjoyed donuts or other items in a LONG time. Each and every person who I’ve come into contact with has made a special impression on me.

I knew I wanted to operate a gluten/allergen free bakery to offer tasty baked goods for people who typically couldn’t have them… or who wanted to try a different dietary “lifestyle”…. or who had a sensitivity so strong that a dedicated, gluten-free facility was necessary. I’ve been searching for that ‘passion’ for many years now and I’m so happy to have found it in the LPHJ Kitchen bakery. So I wanted to have a little giveaway to say “THANKS” for all those who have been supporting me.

Here’s the details: I will pick 2 winners.

That’s awesome Linda! Dietary modifications can be done with a little creativity! My husband’s favorite is blackberry cobbler… in fact, my kiddos want to go down our trail to pick wild blackberries today FOR pie 🙂

Dessert is too hard to decide: cheesecake, brownies, ice cream. Bummer I’m staying away from dairy, gluten and eggs!

Ahhh I know! Hey – I have to avoid all those things as well. It’s amazing what you can create when you are desperate for tasty dessert! 🙂 Believe it or not, I finally created a dairy-free, gluten-free and egg-free bread….after 3 years of trying ha! Cheesecake was always my weakness though…. kinda hard to make that taste original without dairy!
